The STOMP Troopers project is produced by NOLArts Learning Center, a nonprofit founded by special needs music educator, Sarah Ambrose and clinical art therapist, Kate Lacour.

Both founders have an extensive background in both applied behavior therapy and humanistic therapies. In its mission to serve the New Orleans Autistic community, NOLArts strives to adhere to the principles of neurodiversity and disability pride.

NOLArts Learning Center operated a special needs clinic with music, art therapy, social skills, tutoring, and summer camp services from 2015-2018. Today, the mission continues through the STOMP Troopers Project.
