The STOMP Troopers project is produced by NOLArts Learning Center, a nonprofit founded by Sarah Ambrose and Kate Lacour. Sarah holds a master’s degree in special needs music education, and Kate holds a master’s in creative art therapy.

Both founders have an extensive background in both applied behavior therapy and humanistic therapies. In its mission to serve the New Orleans Autistic community, NOLArts strives to adhere to the principles of neurodiversity and disability pride.

NOLArts Learning Center operated a special needs clinic offering music, art, social skills, tutoring, and summer camp services from 2015-2018. Today, the mission continues through the STOMP Troopers Project.
